Team Building Activities – Vision Setting is to help each participant visualize what they wish to see in their organization and share it with the rest of the team.

Each individual often has different ideas about how they wish an organization to grow; this activity will help every participant share their personal vision and align everyone’s vision for the organization.

instructionsInstructions

1. Explain to the participants about vision setting and its role in personal and organizational success. You can read about vision in leadership and articulating your vision.

2. Get them to fill up the Vision Setting Sheet.

3. One by one, each participant will present his/her vision for the organization as a whole, for his/her department as well as their personal vision.

4. Encourage the participants to use their laptops to make PowerPoint presentations if they wish, as visuals make greater impact.

5. As a facilitator, seek to find the common points in their vision and encourage the whole body of participants to come up with a common vision for the organization.

6. Use this final common vision and write it on a blank sheet of paper. Encourage the participants to make a plaque or display from this vision and place it somewhere visible.
