30 minutes
1. Divide the participants into groups of 4 and 5. 2. Give an explanation or a short presentation on the DISC Personality Test. You can read about the DISC Personality Test. 3. Pass out the DISC Personality Test Sheet to the participants. This is a simple test to roughly gauge the personality type of each individual. The instructions are on the sheet. 4. Give them about 5-10 minutes to finish the sheet. 5. When they are done, use the DISC Facilitator Sheet to talk about each personality type and what their score means to them.
6. Allow each participant to share their findings with their group, and in the process, talk a little more about their working styles. 7. Conclude the exercise by talking a little more about how different styles can complement one another, or end in conflict.
1. What did you find out about your peers’ from this short exercise? 2. Do you think you have a good mix of personalities in your team? Why or why not? 3. What adjustments do you think you can make to your working style to suit your peers? Return to Team Building Activities
