Many years ago, there was this debate about whether leadership was born or made; whether it was nature or nurture.
But through the years, it has become more conclusive now that leaders are really made. Their leadership potential was nurtured through years of training and hard work.
And that would be the same story if you read autobiographies of every successful person. It’s just hard work; lots and lots of hard work and discipline.
Never did any of these successful people mention that they felt like leaders from the time of their youth all the way till today.
In fact, if you take time to read some of these stories, you’ll find that most of these men came from broken backgrounds and childhoods.
They didn’t have the best of circumstances, but they chose to make the best of what they had. They paid the price of hard work; and became the great leaders of today!
Leadership is a choice.
It is not luck; neither is it handed to you on a silver spoon from the day you were born.
It is a decision you make.
So make a decision today; to become the best that you can be; to put in your all in your work and practice strict discipline in your life!
That is your price for the goal that you seek in your life!
