Leadership Icebreakers - Master Architects demonstrate the importance of planning, teamwork, problem solving and it is a great exercise to observe any team’s group dynamics.

• To test the planning skills of the team

About 30 sheets of newspapers per team
A roll of masking tape per team
A pair of scissors per team
A drink packet(unopened) per team
A measuring tape


time requiredTime Required

30 minutes


instructionsInstructions

1. Divide the team into groups of 5-6.

2. Each team is given the necessary materials as mentioned above.

3. With the materials, they must construct a tower using the newspapers that are provided for them as high up as possible.

4. They are given 20 minutes to complete the task.

5. When the structure is completed, it must be strong enough to support a drink packet at the top.

6. When the team is done, the drink packet should be placed at the top of the structure to test its strength.

7. The team that builds the tallest structure that can hold the drink packet wins the game.
