Leadership Icebreakers- Hosts and Guests is a quick test of a person’s initiative. Hosts and Guests should be played in a setting where the participants do not know each other or are unfamiliar with one another.

instructionsInstructions

1. The instructor will ask everyone to stand up to go and greet five other people in the room.

2. After 5 minutes, the instructor will ask the crowd a few questions:

• How many people actually did that for five other people?
• How many people did it for more than five people?
• How many actually went the extra mile and starting asking for name cards?

3. During this short exercise, the group was able to evaluate themselves on how they would behave on in a relationship:

• were they active people who would take the initiative, or
• were passive and waited for people to get to know them.
