Cat and Mouse

titleTitle & Description

Indoor Team Building Games – Cat and Mouse is a fast-paced, exciting team bonding game that will bring your participants closer together through lots of laughter, screams and protests!

purposePurpose

• For icebreaking purposes

team sizeTeam Size

About 8 or more players

team sizeMaterials Required

Two ties of different colours.

time requiredTime Required

15 minutes

instructionsInstructions

1. The participants sit down forming a circle facing inwards.

2. The two ties each represent a ‘cat’ and a ‘mouse’. Choose one tie to represent each.

3. To begin a round, place the two ties with two people sitting at opposite sides of the circle.

4. Now the cat tie is supposed to chase after the mouse tie.

5. To move the cat tie left/right (predetermined by you), the person holding on to the cat tie must make a knot around his neck using the tie.

6. To move the mouse tie, the person holding on to the mouse tie must make two knots (doesn’t have to be around the neck)

7. When the round begins, the two people holding the respective ties must start making the knots.

8. As you would see, the cat tie should be moving faster than the mouse tie, albeit the cat chasing the mouse.

9. This would go on until the cat finally catches the mouse; that is, a person holding on to the cat tie passes the tie to the next person, when that next person has not finished tying the two knots for the mouse tie.

10. This loser would have to perform a forfeit!
