Definition of Leadership

There have been many leadership definitions made by academics and business leaders alike, but there are common points in all these definitions. Through some researching, I have decided that this is the best description.
“Leadership is about influencing others toward a common goal.”
Leadership is first about influencing others. A person has influence when he is able to get another person to perform what he requires of him. As a leader, you need the influence to be able to get people to act in line with your objectives.
In this section, I have written several original articles relating to understanding of leadership, both by industry leaders and academics alike.
